My Domino by Roy Cross

September 8, 2017

"It all began when a small female black and white emaciated cat, hungry and wet through after a fruitless search for food, dragged itself across the narrow alleyway and through the stage door of the closed Brenchworth Theatre Royal one dark, rainy Friday afternoon in winter."

So begins this unusual murder mystery.

When lonely spinster, Patricia 'Patti' Lewin follows the cat and decides to help it and it's four newborn kittens, she can have no idea that she is about to get caught up in a murder investigation.  But that is exactly what happens when Detective Inspector Grey asks for her help.

At the same time, Patti develops a strong bond with the cat, christened Domino on account of it's black and white fur.  So strong in fact, that she is sure Domino not only understands much of what she says and thinks, but also, in it's own way, provides answers to her questions.

Set some 30 years after the end of World War II, My Domino will appeal to anyone who enjoys a good, suspenseful story with lots of twists and turns.  If they happen to love cats too, well they're sure to adore it.

My Domino is the first story in a planned series of six.  The second and third instalments are also now available on Amazon.
