It is no surprise to find that Cheryl Koevoet is a successfully published author, after all she has had quite the journey of a lifetime that lead to her writing! Cheryl grew up in Portland, Oregan before travelling to the sunnier south to study graphic design/communications in California. Many years before writing the Carnelian trilogy, Cheryl met her husband on a cruise ship when vacationing with her family. They sailed around the world to more than fifty-five countries! Cheryl and her husband then settled in The Netherlands for a peaceful life with their four children.

The Carnelian Legacy was first published in 2013, and is Cheryl's debut novel. Its sequel, The Carnelian Tyranny, was released in 2014. The third book in the trilogy is The Carnelian Destiny, scheduled for release this year.
