Persea Books: Accepting Book Manuscript Queries

An established literary publisher with wide distribution. Persea Books is an independent book publisher based out of New York that was established in the 1970s. Since then they have gained a reputation for publishing thoughtful books in a variety of literary genres.

Black Fox Literary Magazine: Now Accepting Submissions

‍

lack Fox Literary Magazine is a print and online publication of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. They publish many forms and styles of work in all genres, but they especially like to publish styles of fiction that tend to be under-represented in literary journals, such as mystery, crime, romance, young adult, and all sub-genres in-between.

SunnyOutside Press

‍

SunnyOutside is a small press based out of Buffalo, New York that publishes chapbooks and books. Their next reading period opens up on the 1st of August and ends on the 31st. Their books and chapbooks are thoughtfully selected and in my experience usually very fun to read. They only accept work submitted through the mail.
